3/4 C Butter
2 1/8 C Sugar
3 eggs
2 tsp Vanilla
3 C Flour
1 1/2 tsp Baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 C Buttermilk
2 tsp Lemon juice
1 1/2 C mashed bananas
Mix bananas and lemon juice and set aside. In large bowel cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs and stir in vanilla. Beat in flout mix alternating with buttermilk. Stir in bananas and our into greased 13x9" pan.
Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour. When done place directly in freezer for 45 minutes. Frost and serve.
Banana Cake Frosting:1/2 C Butter
8 oz cream cheese
3 1/2 C Powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
Cream all ingredients together and spread over cake.
