Vincotto® Originale is a rich, highly aromatic, velvety liquid, produced from a secret 150-year-old family recipe in Puglia, Southern Italy. The native Malvasia Nera and Negroamaro grapes have been left to dry on the vines for 30 days, after which the juice (or "must") is cooked slowly for up to 48 hours, until it is reduced to one fifth of the original volume. Is then matured in small oak barrels for a minimum of 4 years so as to develop the intense unique flavour, before being bottles and called Vincotto® Originale.
Vincotto® Originale is made from 100% pure grape juice, and is completely free from any artificial additives, or any added sugar. It also exhibits unique natural flavor enhancing properties.
