    Serves 6

5-6 Juice Oranges, enough for 2 Cups of Juice
2 cups (or less) of Sugar
1 Quart of Good Quality Rum or Brandy

    METHOD:
Squeeze the oranges until you have 2 cups of juice. Reserve half of the rinds. Strain the juice to remove piths and seeds.

Combine the juice, sugar and rum or brandy into a large bottle. Coarsely chop the orange rinds and add them to the bottle. Cover and shake the mixture.

After letting the mixture stand for about 8 hours, strain out the orange rinds. Cover and shake the mixture about 4 times daily for the next four days. Reserve for use.

To serve, pour into a small punch bowl and chill with either ice in the bowl or in individual glasses.
