This rich, full-bocied Viognier hits lots of ripe, complex notes. It displays wonderful perfumed and floral aromas, as well as generous layers of apricot, pear, and honeysuckle flavors that glide across the palate, finishing with a smooth, creamy, buttery texture. This is an exotic mouthfilling wine that will nicely complement shellfish as well as sweet spicy foods such as Thai Coconut Curry.
Daisy Creek Estate grown Viognier is planted on an old mining claim in the historic district of Jacksonville, Oregon. Our warm valley breezes, extended growing season and our rocky riverbed soil combine to produce grapes with intense flavor and lovely varietal character.
Daisy Creek meanders through the site that is home to not only our vineyard but includes peach and pear orchards and stretches of wild plums and blackberries. These attributes all help to produce grapes of distinction.
